“Writing Your Way to the Spirit”
Sometimes writing is the best way to get in touch with our Inner Power. In this session, we will write freely, concentrating on ideas and feelings rather than on writing conventions. In that kind of free writing, what we think and/or feel can travel from our brains and hearts, down our arms through our fingers, through our pens and onto the page. And on that page, sometimes we read ideas, feelings, prayers, and insights we did not know were there until we wrote them down. Often, these ideas can represent messages from our inner spirit who can guide us in the way we should go, if we listen to her. (Participants will want to bring journal and a pen)

“Attending To The Moment: Listen To Your Inner Guide”
Step 10 calls us to a deeper understanding of who we are and how we move in the world. Embracing the spiritual practice of “self-observation” is essential to long term recovery and requires great strength and courage. We are all in relationship one-to-another; what we do to others, we do to ourselves. Be a good tracker of how you show up in your life on a daily basis. Look into your own heart, make “honest” self-assessments, and take purposeful actions to self-correct, when needed, so you continue to experience the great transformation promised in the 12-steps of recovery.
