Serenity Room (formerly the Hospitality Room)
Open 24 hours a day for the entire weekend with coffee provided. Arts and crafts: make your very own GOD BOX; work on your key log; contribute your creative touch to this year's Serenity in the Smokies Banner, which will be displayed Saturday night and at the closing ceremony.

Massage Therapy
Relax and unwind
Schedule your appointment on the bulletin board in the lobby upon arrival. All therapists are licensed and set their own fees. Payments accepted in cash or check. Some massage therapists will be accepting credit cards this year. Payments are made directly to your massage therapist.

The Serenity Shuttle
Assisting those with physical limitations
The shuttle will run between meetings, seminars, workshops, and activities. Please check with registration and/or committee member regarding your needs and pick-up locations.

Giving and Receiving
Through your generosity, Serenity in the Smokies provides partial scholarships to women involved in 12-step programs who without financial assistance would not have the opportunity to experience Serenity in the Smokies. Application forms for scholarships may be obtained from committee members or downloaded from the website.

All proceeds from the merchandise table benefit the Patte Mitchell Memorial Scholarship Fund. Stop by the merchandise table in the Kanuga Inn lobby for your Serenity souvenirs and tickets for the drawing. Donations to the scholarship fund are also accepted at the merchandise table or may be sent to Serenity in the Smokies Scholarship Fund P.O. Box 10266, Knoxville, TN 37939.

Bonfire/
Keylog Ceremony candlelight A Serenity tradition!
The young women from Peninsula Village will lead a candlelight ceremony at the pavilion following the Saturday night festivities. Bring your drums and voices and something to “release” into the bonfire. More information will be available on this ceremony in your registration packet.

Serenity Archives
The committee is continuing to build an archive of past Serenity conferences. If you have memorabilia, photos, etc., that you would like to add to the archive, please talk with one of the SIS committee members. Thanks!

Things To Bring
To make your stay more enjoyable, you may consider bringing the following: Flashlight, comfortable shoes for walking/hiking, casual comfortable clothing, cold/cool weather clothing items (gloves, socks, jacket, toboggan, etc.), light jacket or sweatshirt, toiletries (shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.), extra blanket, favorite pillow, alarm clock, hair dryer, water bottle, coffee pot and coffee (and fixings) for your cabin, snacks (the facility offers meals only and no snacks), Royal Hat. Rooms do NOT have telephones, televisions, alarm clocks.

Dietary Needs
The Kanuga dining area can prepare many meals and have some of what is needed for a wheat and gluten free diet. Kanuga has on hand for meals: dairy products (milk, cheese, limited amount of ice cream), fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh meats, rice noodles, limited to 3 gluten free desserts. Kanuga does not have gluten free breads, breaded items, or snacks on hand for meals. They are not able to keep certain condiments on hand for gluten free diets such as syrup, salad dressings (except oil and vinegar), soy sauce, etc. If you like, you can bring gluten free bread/breaded items or any other items and the kitchen will be glad to accommodate with each meal according to menu. If you do bring gluten free items, please label and the kitchen will be glad to refrigerate any item/items.

Commuters
Meals for commuters are priced separately and must be paid in advance to Serenity in the Smokies with the conference fees. Please see the registration form for details and pricing.

Cancellation Fee
If you must cancel, please do so by September 22, 2011 for a full refund. Cancellations after September 22 will be charged a minimum $50.00 fee.
